Invite those you love most to join you for New Year’s Eve at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, where a host of celebrations to suit all tastes and ages awaits. Families with young children have a choice of two exquisite venues. The first, Moana, channels the casual glamor of the South Pacific with a softly lit, glass-walled dining room and a dark wood deck with tranquil sea views. Let the lively sound of South African musicians Neil & Nicky set the tone for an evening of festive fun, then settle in for a five-course menu created especially for the occasion by our talented chefs. Lobster tartare, grilled prawn salad, Wagyu tenderloin… These are just some of the delights in store. We are also offering a dedicated menu for vegetarians.
Maui, our magnificent beachside restaurant, is the second venue for families this New Year’s Eve. Here, the tables are set directly on the beach with views across the ocean to the Palm Jumeirah skyline – making it easy for children to get down and play in between buffet servings. On the menu is an impossibly decadent smorgasbord of food, including oyster, chilled seafood, and sushi bars; dedicated markets for charcuterie and festive cheeses; and globally inspired mains that range from Australian beef medallions to Brazilian seafood stew. Of course, there will be options especially for children, while guests of all ages will be impressed by the eight-piece live performance of The Edge Show Band.
For parties aged 16 and over, we recommend the five-course dinner at Porterhouse Steaks and Grills. The wine-cellar chic of the exposed brick interior adds an element of grown-up elegance to proceedings – alternatively, enjoy the balmy evening air out on the palm-fringed veranda. Exceptional singer/saxophonist duo Toi & Kristina provide the perfect accompaniment to the sophisticated, seductive menu, which tempts with everything from truffle choux and duck liver terrine, to Atlantic scallops and whipped chocolate ganache. For vegetarians, the main course is pumpkin Wellington served with wild asparagus, while carnivores have a choice of Wagyu beef tenderloin or Norwegian cod fillet.
Regardless of the venue you choose, an unforgettable blend of Polynesian magic and French joie de vivre is guaranteed. Fire dancers, stilt walkers, and jugglers roam throughout, while packages include free-flowing house wines, beers, spirits, and of course, a celebratory glass of Champagne.
Prices are the same for all three venues: AED 2,500 for adults and AED 1,750 for teens aged 12 to 21 years. Children under 12 dine with our compliments. To guarantee your table, all tickets must be prepaid upon reservation. Cancellations made 30 days in advance will be eligible for a 50% refund; cancellations made within 15 days will be charged full price.
