Dubai’s malls are beyond compare with a continuing evolution of Dubai’s heritage as a trading center. Here is a sampling of just two of the many indoor shopping and entertainment options just a few minutes drive from the resort.

Nakheel Mall is the newest shopping mall on Palm Jumeirah, just 10 minutes drive away. This mall offers more than 300 dining, shopping, leisure and entertainment venues including a movie cinema and medical center.

Mall of the Emirates has plenty of luxury brands, upscale restaurants and entertainment galore. But what really sets it apart is the spectacular Ski Dubai. Where else in the Middle East can you glide down 6,000 tons of snow and interact with a resident colony of penguins – all indoors and in –2°C (28°F) temperature? To get to this mall, simply hop on the resort’s courtesy shuttle bus.

Dubai Marina Mall, located near the entrance of Palm Jumeirah, is one of the loveliest shopping centers in the city. Locals and travelers flock to its spectacular waterfront location, outdoor dining venues and, of course, its numerous boutiques, restaurants, cinema and kid’s play zone.
